Group General Manager
Vasiliki is the General Manager of IOGR Group of Companies since 2015, a milestone year for the transformation of the Group, active in the fields of aviation, ground handling and tourism. Her role in the Group is to navigate the growth strategy and oversee the implementation and compliance of the business and the strategic project management for all group entities. She has been instrumental in the transformation of SKY express from purely domestic carrier to an international gamechanger in the European market, after a massive fleet modernization and a complete operational transformation. SKY express is now “in with the new” adding new destinations and achieving record growth to top European destinations. Forging teams and inspiring them passionately, Vasiliki leads the environmental agenda for the group and SKY express, a genuine success story: now operating the greenest and youngest fleet in Greece and one of the greenest and youngest in Europe. Prior to joining IOGR Group of Companies, Vasiliki held various high-level positions in major companies, among which Chief Legal Counsel and Higher Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Forthnet/NOVA, the leading pay TV and telecoms integrated operator in Greece, and Chief Legal Counsel and Regulatory Project Manager in the establishment of the first digital terrestrial free to air operator DIGEA, Legal Counsel to ΣΚΑΪ tv, various television broadcasters, media companies, retail companies and financial institutions. Since November 2021 Vasiliki is an elected Board Member of the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) a trade association representing more than 55 airlines and over 130 associate members, including manufacturers, airports, suppliers and aviation service providers, across the entire spectrum of the aviation industry. Vasiliki is a member of the Athens Bar Association since September 1996 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and an LL.M. (Legal Master’s) Degree from the University of Kent in Canterbury (UK). She is married and has three children.
