Christophe Chamboncel

Christophe Chamboncel is leading NIRO’s Hospitality & Development Operations teams across its portfolio. He is providing support and sector expertise in the cross fertilization of business opportunities and guidance on risks to the business, both existing and new opportunities.
Christophe has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, primarily focusing on Operations & Development efforts and growing brands across Africa and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining NIRO Investment Group, he served as Vice-President Operations Management for Southeastern Europe within Accor Group. During this time, he was responsible for all Operations in Romania and in the SEE and led above 50 hotels for operations excellence & profitability in key areas such as Service, Engagement, Revenue growth, Development, Preopening, and relations with business partners & hotel owners’ expectations within both managed and franchise operations mode. He is fluent in Greek, English, French and has some basic knowledge of Romanian & Arabic as well. Christophe holds a master’s degree in hospitality management at Vatel France Institute and has participated in several Courses in Cornell University.

Corinthia Grand Hotel Boulevard includes 30 luxury suites, meeting rooms, a Grand ballroom, Cigar Lounge, Restaurants, bars, and a SPA. Located in the heart of Bucharest, the building of the oldest hotel in Bucharest was built in 1867 and it is listed by the Ministry of Culture among the A Class Historic and Architectural Monuments. Corinthia Grand Hotel Boulevard will open in September 2023.
Swissôtel Bucharest has 224 rooms, 2 restaurants, one of which is rooftop located, with an exceptional panoramic view of the city, bars and lounge area, swimming pool located on the 22nd floor, spa & fitness facilities and a business meetings and corporate events area. The building that will accommodate the highest hotel in Bucharest is 85 m high, has 27 floors and a total built area of about 30,000 square meters. Swissôtel Bucharest will open in September 2024.
Niro Investment Group's is the developer of a luxury resort in the Maldives. The luxury resort is just at fifteen (15) minute boat ride from Valana International Airport in North Kaafu Atoll, it is easily accessible and located on two main islands and an exclusive private island. The resort includes 178 luxury villas, Themed Restaurants, Cocktail bars, Kids Club, Luxury shopping Area, Water Sports facilities, Pools, Gym & Fitness & SPA. The large project was started last year and will be completed by 2025.
